The official show on saturday was judged by Salvatore Tripoli. And we went rather early to Böda Sand to make ourselves and the dogs at home. There were 34 adult lagotto and 7 puppies. Unfortunately the puppies had another judge.

It started to rain around noon and continued to do so all afternoon.

Eventually the classification started. Tripoli chosed Cobby's Cirena ”Våfflan” as BOB and Re d'Abruzzo Gerry as BOS. The veteran Ivan showed himself from his best side and seemed honestly happy to show himself up.

We were able to go almost immediately to the Big ring for the finals. All lagotto-fans were sitting together at the short side.

The final was fantastic!

Ivan was carried around by crys of joy from the fans and ended up as BIS Veteran!!!
Best Avelsgrupp was Kennel Cobbys; Gerry with Enja, Funghi, Chocolatemint, C-C.
Best Breedersgroup was Kennel Cobby's; Funghi, Enja, Clothilde, C-C.

The happiness knew no limits and we all applauded and cheered.

Now the time had come for the final of Group 8. The excitement was rising, how was Salvatore Tripoli going to judge…?
But of course!!!! It was Cobby's Cirena ”Våfflan“ who was selected as BestInGroup! It was going to be really thrilling in the BIS-final tomorrow!

At last we were able to collect our soaking things and go home for a nice dinner.

During the afternoon more families had met up at the farm in Trosnäs. The Hägglund family+ Zeb, The Selin family+ Bisaccia ”Stella”, and Sarah Brandes from Denmark but without her lagotto. Berit and Roy took their caravan from Böda and shared our meal.

It was raining even more in the evening so we were lucky to have a “partybarn“ were we had our dinner together.

The sunday treated us with much better weather. Sunny and just enough heat.
103 lagottos had entered to this the first Specialshow of theSwedish LagottoClub.

The vice president of CIL (The Italian Lagotto Club) Gilberto Grandi was our judge.

He had a tough task to judge that many lagottos in one day. The classification started at 9 PM and wasn't finished until 16 AM.

The arrangement was wery well carried out. And most things run very smoothly although the number of participants had exceeded everyones expectations. As a matter of fact it was a Worldrecord in participating lagottos! Many fine prizes were given to the five first placed dogs in each class and furthermore all participants got a nice T-shirt after the classification.

Eventually it was time for Quintus to enter the ring.
He won the Openclass! And he got such nice prizes. But it wasn't the ending of it all. He became 2:nd Best Male!
Re D'abruzzo Gerry won (and became BOB) and Scheffelfältets Daccapo Doro was on the third place.

When the classification of the bitches started I was still a little bit shocked so I had difficulties concentrating. But at last Våfflan ended as 3:rd bitch. Funghis first pup Cobbys Innovatrice was second best bitch.

BOS was Toshikos Stella Nova not yet14 months old!!

Now it was time to go to the large final-ring for the Best In Show final!
Many nice dogs were participating. They were deselected one by one. It was so exciting!
And Cobbys Cirena ”Våfflan” became BIS 4!!! It bringed great joy to all her fans and to all lagotto-enthusiasts!!
